Ongoing fundraisers:
Pizza Wednesdays
Pizza Wednesdays is a lunch alternative offered by the PTO for FGCS students and staff that also raises money for Outdoor School and other outdoor learning opportunities for FGCS students.
How it works:
• Students may order slices of cheese, pepperoni, Don Ho (Canadian bacon and pineapple) or Combo (Italian sausage, mushroom and black olives) that come from our local Pizza Schmizza. Slices cost $2.50 and students may order as many as they wish, but we can't accept any special orders.
• Orders with payment must be placed in the locked fundraising box no later than 9 a.m. Tuesday to receive pizza on Wednesday. No exceptions. Payment may be by cash (exact change, please) or check (made out to FGCS with "fundraising" written in the memo section). Order forms are available at school in the main hallway (clear wall mounted box near the locked fundraising box) or here. You may order one week at a time or for multiple weeks in advance.
• Pizza is served in the main building foyer but students return to their classrooms to eat. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their own reuseable plates from home to reduce waste.
Scholastics Book Fairs
FGCS PTO sponsors four Scholastics book fairs each school year. Book fairs are scheduled this year for

May 17-21 (Buy One, Get One Free)
Book fairs are a great chance to build your own home library, donate books to classroom libraries and raise money to help FGCS purchase books for our libraries and classrooms. The December book fair is perfect for holiday shopping and this year we're planning an evening event with hot cocoa, story times and free gift wrapping. Stay tuned for details.

Made from reclaimed fabric and food-grade waxed paper, these sandwich wraps come in various sizes and prices. See Karen in the office to buy one for your waste-free lunch.
Paper Recycling
Recycle your old phone books and household mixed paper (no cardboard, please) in our big green dumpster to help raise money for FGCS.
Printer Cartridge Recycling
Raise money for FGCS's Roots & Shoots program by bringing in your old printer ink cartridges for recycling.
