24-25 School Year Snow Routes Rt. 27/15 Snow Routes Bus 18, which serves Forest Grove and Cornelius address, does not have a snow route, so it would operate on its usual route if other buses are on snow routes.
Students are eligible to ride the school bus if they live one mile or more from FGCS.
Mid-Columbia Bus Co. assigns routes (location, morning pick-up and afternoon drop-off times) based on student addresses. However, because only two buses are assigned to FGCS, which served the entire District, Mid-Columbia has advised FGCS that stops may be several blocks or more from student homes; in the case of students who live rurally, a bus stop may not be assigned.
Parents will receive a postcard with school bus information the week of August 20. If you do not receive a postcard, please contact Karen Torry at 503-359-4600 or [email protected] to confirm whether your student is eligible for bus service.
All school rules and behavioral expectations apply while students are riding the school bus. Parents are encouraged to read and review bus rules with their students. Please contact Karen Torry with any questions about bus rules.
Parents are also encouraged to accompany students to their bus stops at least the first day of school to make sure they know where to wait and how to safely cross streets, if necessary.
Please Note: If your student's bus is more than 5 minutes late, please call Mid-Columbia Bus Co. directly at 503-992-7167. A bus dispatcher can radio the driver to get an ETA; FGCS does not have the ability to do this.
